1. No Topic - in Intergalactic Summit [original thread]
The feed resolves into a familiar, porcine face. As usual, the behemoth is flanked by a coterie of nubile young vixens. One hand holds a forgotten longlimb in his lap, its mouth still opening and closing spasmodically. Stimulus claims sole respo...

2. No Topic - in Intergalactic Summit [original thread]
Edited by: Scorpio Dantes on 03/10/2007 22:55:53 A holofeed shimmers into existence, showing a heaving, vaguely humanoid dark mass sat on a gleaming throne. Two barely clothed Gallentean beauties, their expressions an image of impeccable ...

3. Global climate change. What should be done? - in Out of Pod Experience [original thread]
The supposition upon which the author of the video bases his argument is that the problem of global warming can be sufficiently addressed by government action, and increased spending. My experience leads me to believe that government action has e...

4. 63 years ago today 6 th of june - in Out of Pod Experience [original thread]
Originally by: Derovius Vaden D-Day may have been the largest invasion in history, but it was very poorly conceived. More people died than needed to, especially on the Canadian beaches. If the Allied High Command pushed through Italy ins...

5. midnight showing of spiderman 3 - in Out of Pod Experience [original thread]
Not so good, but not entirely terrible either. * (out of four) I thought it was much too long, lacked character development, especially the Sandman. The dialogue was fairly boring and weepy. I did not find it very thrilling, either. Disappointing...

9. Walking in stations and combining it with 'FPS-Esque' play. - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Well.. I'd hate to see EVE turn into a lackluster FPS, and I'm sure that CCP would never allow this. On the other hand, stations are currently used as an immersion-breaking refuge for targets, and it would be nice if there was some game mechanic t...

11. How to solve gate camps - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I think the system works fine as is, and gatecamps are an intended feature. One thing that would spice it up a bit would be callboxes. If you have high enough standings to the faction in charge of an area, you could call in some NPCS for support....

12. The worst beer you have ever supped... - in Out of Pod Experience [original thread]
What a lager hate-fest. I guess the lager just doesn't have as many fans as it used to. Honestly, I like pretty much all beer. Some are generally more appetizing than others, but only very rarely do I taste a beer that I genuinely dislike. Instead...

13. CALDA's call to end the war with Star Fraction - in Intergalactic Summit [original thread]
I know that saluting an enemy can be tawdry, but I concur with my comrade. The cessation of hostilities with CALDA is at least as much attributable to the maturity and diligence of Destania as it is to the diplomatic process as a whole. While I re...

16. Which LCD monitor? Dell 2007W or Gateway FPD2185W ? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
And one more thing - the price difference between 20 and 21 is gigantic. Do yourself a favor and buy *2* 20 inch monitors instead of a 21. Once you go dual-screen, you will never, NEVER compute any other way. I have one regular and one widescreen ...

Check out the Samsung 20 and 21 widescreens. Very nice. I also like the viewsonics mentioned above. The gateway wins hands-down for its flexibility, but I think you would do better to look at some of the other options. If you are really feeling ...
